I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to get a big company to honor their service agreement, and was finally told "no". Since I can't afford to hire an attorney I will just have to forget it. But I found this little jewel and emailed it to them, I feel better about it now. B)

Do You Know The Meaning of "Service"?

At one time in my life, I thought I had a handle on the meaning of the word "service." "The act of doing things for other people."

Then I heard the terms:

Internal Revenue Service *Postal Service* Telephone Service*
*Civil Service* City/County Public Service* Customer Service*
*Service Statiions*...And I became confused about the word "service."
This is not what I thought "service" meant.

Then today, I overheard two farmers talking and one of them mentioned that he was having a bull over to "service" a few of his cows.

SHAZAM! It all came into perspective. Now I understand what all those "service" agencies are doing to us.

Sometimes we all feel like ants waiting to be squashed by the "Big Boys" in the corporate world.

However, I decided some time ago that an action - any action is better than fuming and fussing. So I do try to change the things I can do something about.

This may not apply to your case, but I thought I share it for others who feel inspired by your words.

If you have ever had a bad experience and been ripped off by someone through the internet, it's time to get even, so pick their most vulnerable link...

Got it?

That's right.. write a complete history to their payment processors and their banks. Their "service" arms have a pretty long reach, though you may want to keep tabs to see if they change their account number.. just so you can shut them down again!

You can also send the information to their hosting provider - not all will respond, but if they get enough complaints, they may decide that they can live without the hassle.
