Hi!
I've been clicking since Feb this year and havent got tooo far with getting referrals to the programs I've chosen - just one or two.
Therefore, I would like to ask the experts out there, what is the best way to promote a site you really like ? Do you do it at Redeem for ads sites, PTC, PTSU or do you spend a lot of money at a lot of sites just trying to get these referrals?
I've been doing the old PTCs and banner impressions and some ads but have gotten nowhere so far even though I've just concentrating on 15 good sites. Even so, I get confused as to how to spread my limited resources over so many sites.
Does any guru out there have some good advice for a frustrated but enthusiastic newbie?
Thanks!

I have been thinking this one over.
I have not done alot of advertising compared to some people so Im not the best qualified to answer however I am on a very limited budget so I do have some sugestions for you in that regard.
Collect points, they give you advertising and if you do not have the cash in the bank to pay for an ad right then and there then its very handy to redem for an ad with points. This is especially true if its a NPA you want to do and do not have funds at hand as time is crucial in that case.
Side links have worked for me very well and again are not to expensive if you have to watch your pocket.
If you plan on advertising a NPA (new programe alert) then do it FAST and prefebably to a site that has a large member base. Solo ads to all work the best here. This can cost a bit but have the best results.
PTC banners I have not had much success personally with but I know others that have had great success with them. Alot will depend on the worth of the click and how many pages of them the site has. For example if there is 10 pages of them and you do a 1 cent one...then it will be a long time before anyone may click on it as they all clicking on the 10 and 5 cent ones on the first few pages and your banner is probably on page 10. Also check that there is not already the same banner up there numorus times.
Banner impressions...nice cheap form of advertising, come in handy when you really want to advertise a new site and start a downline but you do not have the funds to cover sending paid emails. However they not as effective as a paid email to all, so remember that, but I mention them as I am thinking of things for those on limited budgets.
I use banners alot and like them :)
Also try joining some free safelists as it cost nothing to advertise on them, just remeber that you will also recieve advertising in return.
Dont get discouraged, it can take time to get results and build downlines...keep it up and results will happen.
Last but not least...build downlines in here  I have more downlines sinse I came here then I had before
:P very happy camper here :P

Hi Vampvixen
Thanks very much for the well-thought out reply and advice. It certainly helps me to focus on the basics and not spend too much on advertising that might not work. Your words are much appreciated!
If you have any good sites, I'll be more than willing to sign up under you!
Cheers!
:P
PTAds sites are good, however the BEST results are on NEW sites,
old sites need too much work.
Exchange signups is good also. But you wont get a big downline.
Dont go with too many choose one, and concentrate your efforts
i have not good results with multiple ads, but better ones with
concentrated efforts on one or a couple.
I have tried PAID to signup and still do it, but is not very good.
Maybe you get the signups but no active downline, they get deleted
after a while.

I think Pay 2 Join is also very risky - whether you use a GPTR or pay someone cash.
I would add to the list sending to safe lists.

in my view , the only Good thing for having Honest Downline is" Be Good to have Good Friends" ... hope you may found that Friends are nothing but yur downlines here.... So build your Arms first , then only you can perform a work Some what easily.
"A Single Ant do nothing , but Colonies can even kill a Big Cobra"
Hope this info is useful to you

I offer Paid to read to my members But I go through a Screening Process to ensure members actually do get there referels!
Once A Paid to signup is brought I add it the PTS Section
Once someone wants to join I investigate with the member who placed the ad ( I email them to confirm in otherwards that this username did actually join under them)
Once I have confimed with the member who palced the ad I then email the programmer Owner just to confirm they have Joined! This way My members dont try and take me for granted....
Many Program Owners are more than happy to oblige and help out another webmaster especially when it comes to signups!
If all webmasters done this it would Greatly Help clean up the PTS sections on most sites!!

I think....be more active here and provide as many helps as you can to the members and I am sure the members here are willing to join under you. That's why I am so choosy when choosing a program to join. The attitute of a upline is very important, I don't like to join under a lazy upline lol :)
