We all are always looking for ways to advertise our programs but the on-line advertising world is very crowded. It is very difficult to get your opportunity seen with all the competion out there. There is however an area that is often over looked by most of us. That is advertising your opportunity off-line.

I know advertising costs off-line can be very high, that is where we just need to get a little creative. Here is something that works for me, maybe it will help some of you also.

I make up my own business cards, using Avery stock, and my jetprinter. I only make up about 50 at a time, sometimes less. You put the url of the business you are wanting to promote, plus a short description of the business.

Carry these cards with you whereever you go. I usually have several types of businesses I am promoting, so I amy be carrying 4 or 5 different titled business cards. Below are some examples of how this can work.

Let's say one of you Ladies is going to get your hair done, maybe nails and all the other things of that nature that you have done. This is a good place that you can find other stay at home moms, that maybe looking for a way to earn some spending money. It is agolden opportunity for you to share your PTR programs with these other women. Works real good if you have somewhat of a casual speaking relationship, in other words not a complete stranger, but can work with someone you don't know, as long as you can get the conversation steered toward making money from home. Of course you must make sure they have a computer.
Give any of them a card that are interested and offer to help them learn. Show them the ropes so they don't have to struggle learning how to do the job. Remember you are building a downline, if you want them active, help them to get started. Just keep reminding yourself that their success is your success. :)

Carry cards with the referral link from traffic exchanges that you belong too. There are all kinds of people and businesses with websites that need traffic. They may not know about traffic exchanges, and that they can advertise for free, or if they do not have time to surf, make sure and let them know they can buy credits to get their sites seen. Again you are building your downlines and in some cases if they buy credits you get a piece of that action too. :)

One that works for me real well is I am an affiliate of The Newbie Club so I always have cards with my affiliate link for them. There are a lot of people wanting to learn about their pc's and related things bu most of this is in language that is over their head. Soo..along comes D.Koenemann and slips them a little business card with http://newbieclub.com/?Start_Right on it. You would be surprised at the number of happy customers I get this way. I have helped them get started on conquering that computer in an easier to understand language, and my pockets get some jingle!

These are just a few of the things you can do for almost no money outside of the cost of making your business cards. You find what they need and try to fill that need with your product. Works for me! :D

So be creative and try it, let's hear about your success, I think you will be pleasantly surprised :D :D

That is soo true. I guess we just bean all cought up
in all the things we can do on the net, that we totally
forget about all the things we can do offline.
(and that is probably A LOT :D )

Thanks for sharing

We all just have to try and look with fresh eyes for the opportunity to promote our businesses, even when we are out just having fun. Having some business cards handy makes it a lot easier. You don't have to do a hard sell. Many times things like this will come up in a conversation. A couple of weeks ago I ran accross an individual that had his own personal website but couldn't get any traffic, he did not know about traffic exchanges. I just gave him a quick explanation and a business card with my referral link. In about 2 days he showed up in my downline in ClicksMatrix. :D

The main thing is to remember this is YOUR BUSINESS, be proud of it and look for ways to promote and build it.

That is very good creative thinking.

There are many ways a person can advertise.

What I like about business cards is that they are small and as Patos
said most people will take a business card. :)

There is nothing that they have to remember, it is right there in print
when ever they need it.

Often times just setting and listening to people talk about their business
you may be able to offer up a solution to a problem they are experiencing.

If they are having advertising problems, or software problems and you
just happen to have a business card handy that offers a solution to their
problem it can be very good for you and your business. :D

Hi, Everyone! :)

Here is another off line advertising tip. :)

How many of you use a public laundromat to wash your clothes?

Most laundromat's have a bullitin board, post your business card or make up a small classified type of ad for the board. Places like these usually have people looking to earn additional income. If they don't have a bulletin board ask if you could start one.  B)

I have put notes on those kind of boards in grocery stores
and on the shopping center in the past.
One of my friends have done this with good results, but
the dropout was high for that opportunity, so he didn't get
much return for putting them up.

I guess it would be more effective for a product than a PTR program.

Products or services is all I have ever done. I know it works for those. :)

It was a mobile club we were a member of quite a while ago.

Well, I'm still a member cuz when I talked to the owner on msn
messenger and told him to delete me I got a free membership.
Now I get 600 FREE SMS messages pr month and 4$ pr month in
earnings. :D

Here is an example of what I think is some very creative advertising.  B)

The following ad ran in The Atlanta Journal:

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, race unimportant. I'm a very good looking girl who LOVES to play, take long walks in the woods, hunting, camping, fishing trips, and cozy winter nights by the fire. Really like a man with a pickup truck. A candlelight dinner will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Rub me the right way and watch me respond. Kiss me and I'm yours. Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for Daisy.

Over 15,000 men found themselves talking to the Atlanta Humane Society about an 8-week old black Labrador retriever.

That is brilliant I think, and very funny.  B)

Is that what they call getting good response for the ads?

Refferal links are long.. people won't sit and write those.. but d4a makes them shorter or?

Yes, that's correct :)
But at the moment you have to sign up multiple times if you want
to use it for more than one program.

Try local Access tv. My cable company has a Local Access deal and they rotate ads pretty cheaply. I think here it's about $25 a Week.

I should probally try it.
