That is both funny and sad. I hope your friends were able to recover their
losses. So often it is things like this that can destroy a dream before you
can get things rolling, especially in farm life.

Sometimes risk is necessary, but the key is to not risk too much. Pick and
choose wisely, or there may not be a second chance.

Well they did end up buying another pair and get a bit of money from it but they decided not to go into it in a big way. When I was told about it I couldn't stop laughing. At least they did end up making a profit on the whole experience but not as much as they would have.
