Just me from down under

Hi there :)

Im VamPvixen
I am 35 *ack*
I live in Australia but born in South Africa
Im wiccan
I am a single mum
I was married for 10 yrs ...now seperated
such is life

I used to be a dental nurse when I first left school.
Then I managed a business for 8 yrs and did dancing part time.
I had my kids during that time so a 70 hour week was to much. Slowely I toned work down have more time at home with my kids.

My kids are 10 Tahli..my daughter and "mini-me" and my son is 11 Adam..spitting image of his dad

I now stay home full time (been at home full time 4 yrs now or so) but have enrolled in uni..I wish to go back to work now that my kids are older and want to study aged care and Diversonal therapy.

I have a pet dog Tuvok (named for Star Trek..yes im a trekkie!) if i say "my baby" on here..its my dog I am refering to not my kids LOL..he is my muh baby!
I have a cat Chilli and my beloved Gizmo at age of 12 passed away


I read alot and love to write
i write poetry when im emotional...see my website

I have owned and ran a Tech help room on IRC for couple yrs
ran other chat rooms on there too

I got into PTR last year and have become totally adicted to it!
Most of the time you will find me clicking my emails and in here whenever I can
I am also a member of the Mod team here so please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any help or even just to say g'day.

I have enjoyed your posts here since I first joined and I feel you are an excellent moderator. I hope I can be as good as you when I grow up. :lol: :lol:

I know the members will enjoy talking with you as I do. I also know that you are very capable and willing to help anyone who needs it. I don't know if there is much help for me though! :P

I like voyager aswell and I love next gen.
As a kid I remeber watching the original series on TV with my father..so its been a long love of mine.
I love the borg queen! she is beautifyl and I adore Picard..he also rocked as locutus OMG that man is SEXY!
My fav is Spock of course but I did not name my dog Spock as it sounds to much like spot :unsure:
we just got a new puppy a few week ago and named her T'Ana..another vulcan name pug helped us find on a site on the internet that genetates Vulcan names
I realy love vulcans and would love to be one hehe :)
I collect the chess sets aswell and so far I have the original Tri-dimensional set Spock and Kirk played in the orig series that The Franklin Mint made. I also have another franklin mint set that have the orig series cast as the peices in gold plated and the klingons in silver. I also have the next gen set :)
so far to my knowledge thats all they have made :)
If you really want to know anything bout Star Trek ask Pug..he is a fan too and has a massive collection of the episodes...also has great one off praintings and prints in his collection that anyone would be envious of :)
i also collect Star Trek novels..get them from ebay and love D.C Fontana's work and A.C Crispan who did the Sarek book..great reading.

I like star gate as well :) always enjoy watching that too.

When I read this I realise I only see the episodes of stark trek NG,voyager and the oldies of star trek(with spock and kirk),
I don't collect things of Star Trek and that kind of stuff.
So you're the real Trekkie around here. (-wild-) (-wild-)
But I still like, that other ppl look at Star Trek as well.
Once in a while the send out all the movies from star trek here in the Netherlands on television. :)
I look every movie altought I seen them many,many times.
Each time you see different things in the movie that you haven't notice before.
As they say: "To boldly gone where no one has gone before". :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I do not have them all :( I just have 2 of them on dvd and 2 on VHS but I have watched all the movies on TV or big screen or borowed many times
I hope to own them all for myself one day in my DVD collection
I would like to have all the many series on DVD aswell but at the moment we are colecting babalon 5.
I often look at ebay and drool over them...I get alot of books from there but not the movies. I am aprehensive of buying them as they may not play on my DVD player.

I am also into anything in the 80's LOL
I love ALF,,,that alien! hehe and I got a stuffed Alf off ebay that lives on my bed :)
he is too cute :inlove:
