Hi Members. Welcome pull up a chair and have a talk. :) :)
What I would like to do here is have kind of like a round table discussion.
There are some questions that are listed and I would like your feed back. If anyone has any questions or any hints or methods let' s all look at them and see what we can help one another with. B)
1. How often do you email your downlines?
2. What do yopu say to them?
3. Do they respond back to you?
4. Do they ever ask for your assistance?
Ok that should be enough to get things rolling.
Feel free to give advice and ask for advice. I want this to be a true give and take. I want polite constructive conversations please. :)

Here is what I think..
I have to assume that since the member joined
my downline, he actually liked the program and
Want to be in it (even if it is a free sign-up thing, or
a prelaunch and so).
(It's not so easy for GPTR members to get a hold of their
downline because they have no way to get a hold of their
downline, other then sending the email to the PO, and ask
if he can send it for you, this is usually slightly different
in other referral programs).
How often do you email your downline
I think Every single week is Perfect :D
MOST of your downline members have just about No
idea how to promote their business, so once a week
with Usefull information, and not sending other links..
What do you say
This is alittle hard I think, but I will try to get a "normal"
conversation going, telling alittle about my self so they
know that I'm a human as they.
If I have something that is working for me, this would
be natural for me to write about, and if I'm going to
run any paid advertising campaigns, I will allways
invite my downline to join in, try to get a little ad co-op
thing going. This is motivating for both me and my co
workers.
Do they respond back to you
No.. LOL
I expect about 10% of my teamsters to get back to me,
and if I offer a free share in a ad co-op, or tell them
about a great ebook I have, that they can get from me
for free if they respond, about 20 - 30% will get back..
It's not much, but no one has ever told me that it is
easy to run a online business ;)
The strange thing is that if you Stop sending out your
personall experiences, many of your teamsters will
get back to you.. Ohh, I haven't heard from you in a
while, have you quit?, and stuff like that.
Once a wek, Like Clock Work! Sharing my ressults if
any, so they don't have to do my advertising mistakes.
I will put in just about Anything that will help my org.
to grow, except ref. links.
Do they ever ask for your assistance
Seldom... Very seldom, but sometimes. I write something
like this in my siggy:
Send me an email if you want to check out the tools
that i use to promote xxxxxx.com, and I will send you
my list.
This is a great thread btw. Dennis :)

Thank you André,
This exactly what I am wanting to hear. Let's find out what you do, whether it is working for you or isn't. We can examine all this and maybe come up with improvements.
The internet changes almost daily, and there maybe some of you out there that want to do something but don't know quite how or what might be best.
Don't be shy, you are among friends here. :)
Friends help friends! B)

Aloha!
Again an interesting thread!
It's really complicated to get in contact with my referals, if they are not from here. If they are from here, I send them a PM, when it comes to my mind. I don't say: Ok, once a week I send or something like this, no, this comes spontan. And than I don't ad links, I only say thank you for beiing so active in my downline or something like this. Sissy from here is an absolute Super-Referal, and also Brandyn.
It's more complicated when you want to reach referals who are not from here. Most I send a message to the webmaster/the webmistress and ask them to send the message through to my referals. And also without links. Maybe that's stupid, but I send a Thank you from Heart and not only as a nice Prologue for the links...
I don't get response of them and nobody asked me for Help yet, but that don't matters, I only want them to know that I'm happy about their work for me!
Friendly Greetings and have a great day, wherever you are!

I think there are two different conversations going on.
In general PTRs don't give you downline email addresses... however, if you advertise, you can use the opportunity.
For MLMs, I think if there's something to celebrate - even a small success plus general market information, then it makes sense to email the down line. My mlm is in nutrition and there's always at least 5 or 6 articles to do with immune system/endocrine system deficiencies.
The problem I see is that the downline is in effect in competition with each other, so it is a constant challenge to help build the team.

It is very hard to get people to see that they must work as a team for everyone to be able to succeed.
We all, myself included, get stuck in the "What's In It for Me" syndrome and are blinded to the team concept. When you see the light and come together great things happen.

One thing that you can do is encourage your downline to join this forum, it could be a meeting place for you and your downlines.
Through here you can get to know one another and would have the convenience of the downline builder threads and access to all kinds of information.
Yes Downline4All is an advertising forum, but we are and can be so much more.
If we all get to know one another and help one another many great things can come to pass. :) B)
So encourage your downlines and friends to come and join us here. We have the world at our doorstep lets go out and meet it together. :) B)
