Hy,
I have Ad-aware 6.0 on my pc.
It's a nice programme but some things i don't understand.
Can someone please help me with this.
What means: Registry Key(identified)
Registry Values(indentified).
That's the only thing I don't understand.
Can somebody please help me to understand what this means.
Thanks to any response or help. :)
edited for typos

I am not 100% sure, but I think that Registry Key(identified)
means that you have a registered verson of Ad-aware, not
sure what Registry Values(indentified) means dough..

"Registry" has to do with your computer and how it runs. I'm not sure how to explain it in general terms, but if Ad-Aware found something in your Registry, then spyware placed something in there. For example, your Windows Registry contains the information and such needed to run Ad-Aware. I'm sure you can do a search for "Windows Registry" to get a better idea of what it does. The only time I personally go into it is when I'm removing spyware and viruses.

The "Registry" in 30 seconds or less...
The Windows Registry is the encyclopedia of your computer - your settings for every site you've visited, programs you've installed, how big your windows are, etc, etc.
When you run a spyware finder/windows manager, it check the registry and gives you an option to delete settings - eg individual lines or whole programme entries.
You'll need to take care - but if it's a know spyware program, you're pretty safe. Spybot provides a database of descriptions of them.
BTW, the best spyware preventer I've found is spywareblaster - it will prevent the software from being installed on your computer in the first place.

it means that a spyware or adware has been identified on your system/computer and it added a registry key
be sure to go to the next step and allow the progranme to quarantine it
to do this: tick the box on it then hit "next" the programe will then quaranteen the selection and delete as applicable
excuse my spelling mistakes :)

How about visiting the site of your Adware software? For sure, there are relevant information there to address your problem. I'm sure whether the program is free is not, support is available to clients like you.
