Chicken!

Hello!...
I´ve just got chickens!.. a day i will post pictures of them :lol:

Now i have a chicken as Avatar picture.. i didn´t knew how to get a picture there.. first i tried Personal Photo.. but i was wondering about why i sould set my avatar ( The chicken ) as a personal photo.. lol.. i ain't a chicken..

But now i found out ! :) ..

It just look too angry.. i will find my self a new picture :D !

It´s juts "dwarf chickens" so i get small eggs <_<

For the last eighteen years I have managed a chicken farm. :)

We raised broiler chickens, 55,000 at a time, plus my neighbor had another 60,000 chickens that I helped him with. A lot of work and it is 7 days a week and you are always on call so to speak. :newconfuse:

Now that's a LOT of chickens...

We get our eggs directly from the local farm. They are so much nicer than "store bought" eggs - and make the fluffiest scambled eggs/choclate mousse etc.

I like the idea of having dwarf chickens, but I'm afraid they would be fair game for the neighbourhood cats as well as the foxes that find their way through the garden and park.

BTW, one of my neighbours said they had a deer in their back garden the other day - Not a big red deer, but a small one, not much bigger than a dog.
