i think will be better if make in this section "little" hard access...
what i mean:

1. before member don't has 50 (maybe 100) posts don't give him/her access 2 this section.
2. if hi/she isn't 1 or 2 months d4a member

and last why i this it's better how i c ~20-25% comes here ONLY for this 2 section

what u think about... ???

If I understand you correctly, you are suggesting that we don't give access to the downline builder section until the member has been active elsewhere.

Likewise for the swaps sections.

We brought in the 1 per 24 hour rule for the dowline builder section. Perhaps we should ask for people to join other programs and be active for a couple of months before letting them post a swap downlines item- What does everyone think?****

We'd like to make the site as useful and valuable as possible, so we're not trying to get into the "must make 200 posts before you can access this area" rule.

We'd like quality posts.

However, we think people will self select with whom they will swap downlines.

Andre/Lene - should we make this a subject of a monthly poll?

u understand me 100% correctly. maybe it's sounds not good 2 members but i think it's makes d4a more useful :)

i don't tell 200 posts - i tell how u can c 50 or 100 posts ;)

Hi Andrew,

This is something we look at quite often, trying to figure the best way to keep it fair and also keep the new members joining.

We would like to see all members participate in all areas of the forum, not just the DB & Swap.

One thing we have done is start special contests, just like the one you just won. The only way people can win these contests is if they are active in the discussions and overall participation in the forums. If they just post in the DB and leave they are not entered into the drawings for the contests.

We are and will continue to be looking at ways to improve things for all members. Thanks for your input, that is what we want, to hear from our members. :)

i start this topic after i look member stat: in forum r registred 490 members, only 5% of memberst has more then 50 postst, ~40-50% has 10-49 posts, and other members ~50% has 0-9 post.

and last category is who posts only in DB or SWAP section :(

Yes, that is the hardest part Andrew.

Get the mebers to help each other out whit
valuable information and high quality post.

But we must remember that the community
is still very small.

With time more experienced marketers will
come, and training articles, hints, tips and more
will fly over the board :D (trust me on this).

This is a marketing community, so the first
thing that comes to mind for a marketer is
of course, Advertising.. (and that is our fault/
right because that is what we have used in
our advertising campaigns)

We have a couple of good things going behind
the curton ;) Nothing revolutionary, but small
things that will help the members of this community,
and attract new members to join.

You know as well as the rest, that D4A is going
to be very large with time, and One thig is for
sure.. We have noticed several good people
comming to this community. You the rest of the
active and trusted community founders will be
able to be more and more included in the more
important decissions in the future.

This is the kind of things that we are working on
that hopefully will help the members Want To
help each other out more.

We will work harder to boost up the downline builders
(get people to join more)

Plus of course more free marketing resources and
services.

We have more good things going, it just takes a little time :)

"can someone tells me other forums 2 get more ref's?"

For examle: in GetPaidForum.com is rule - 200 quality posts + 2 month membership

I understand, we have noticed that more and more (not many, but still..)
is posting other things thatn just advertising - you for instanse.

Like I wrote, it is a slow prosess building a high quality community,
it relies 100% on the users.

I think the board get's more and more interresting post for every
day, (it could be just me who think so hehe..)

We have Many more active members now, then what we did only
two months ago.

This will increase faster and faster. I personally like better the thought
of rewarding members for beeing active then to "force" to create post
before posting ads. all though I may be wrong on this one.

I think Lene has covered this before, but we are planning on a
point system where you earn points only in certan areas of the board,
(not in the downlinebuilders) and when you have reach a certan
level of points you get access to a "closed" area where downline4all
will offer something of value.

I like this thread, it would be very interresting to hear what other think,
any one else have a oppinion on this?

I like this idea ;) it's sound not bad... hehe
