Which form is better?

I was about to use my earnings at an ad-only site, but I'm suddenly not too sure which method is best. :lol: From your experiences, which do you consider best in terms of results? PTCs, Emails, Banners, or PTSU?

I personally have never used any PTSU but out of the others I have by far recieved a better response from email ads. That is of course depending alot on how well your ad is written. There seems to be a slue of people sending out ads where they have copied and pasted the home page, or shown how many e-mails they recieve in a day. These things are boring to me, and so far just explaining your own experiences with the site and what it has done for you has worked great for me. Banner impressions are good for random clicks but don't usually provide the viewer with enough information to be interested. PTC's are great if you are getting paid to promote and offer a little higher sign up rate as the viewer gets the full spectrum, but I would still recommend the paid e-mail. I have never tried PTSU, but from what others are saying
they are only worth it if the program has a referral contest.

PTC - I never buy them either as a lot of members never
check the PTC section and it might be the same people
clicking every 12 or 24 hours..

Banners - Some of our members, Gnida for instance, is big fans
of banner advertising.

Personally I like best e-mail advertising.

Here's a different way to look at it:

How often do you look at the ........?
- paid to sign up
- pay to click
- email ads***

Check out the site and see how many there are - usually what I find are

- TONS of PTSUs (and quite often the ones at the head of the queue can't be matched by the redemption amounts - eg $50 to sign up) - personally I've never used them

- Varying amounts of PTCs - again some sites have some high paid ones first and I've often found that the redemption amount is for the ones on page 5 and on ward - these are GOOD for advertising the types of things that pay per hit but don't like tons of traffic on the same day... and where you need an action eg MOD CHIP, etc if there is a separate pay per search section it might be worth it (as I doubt many people actually do a search on an email ad) (My response rate has been that it takes a couple of months to get the clicks on 500)

- email ads - you need to have an advertisement that really grabs the attention and be first out off the block for new programs (hint: you might want to use "generic" ad and the D4A redirection link so you can decide when you actually see the ad where you want it to point to - the delay can be up to two weeks in my experience! (my response rate has been clicks from 1/4 to 1/3 of the membership)

***NOTE - WHATEVER You Redeem for - REMEMBER TO WRITE IT DOWN - PREFERABLY IN A DIARY ABOUT WHAT YOU DID. I've had to enquire at least one of one of the most popular sites about when my ad will go out

Please note that this is NOT a criticism of Redeem fo r Ads Only sites - and we may find the same types of responses at Paid sites - what is everyone else's experience?

I think you do pretty good with your english so far orc. At least I understand
all you are writing, but forums are very good practice to learn more :D

Thanks for the help everyone. There's two Ad-Only sites that I can currently redeem at... I'm going to use one site for PTSUs for a program that I love and has paid me (I'll use a high PTSU value). As far as the other site goes, I'm going to have an email sent out to all members ;) This site has a ton of members. Thanks again!

And me, of cource. Also I can handle bulgarian.

Also if funds are limited then i find a side link for a month is really good.

I have had PTSU for 2 sites and on 1 site my Ad sats showed 3 people sighned but upon checking my downline they had not, they just were already members and sent the PO their orig join email grrrrrr however they got caught trying to cheat. So in my opinion they not worth the money.

Another thing if you do PTSU make sure you do not buy them for AYS, I had to have mine deleted (after I had paid for them but before anyone joined under them) as I then found out they are against AYS rules.


But honestly I don't think the idea for foreign language forums is good, especially here. This will create artificial separation between people here while at present everyone at the forum feels like part of a big caring family.

I like people helping each other by translating, it brings people together and benifits everyone that we all can read the post and benifit from the advice.

Only use banner impressions if you have a very good banner or a website you can promote ( I mean a website with some text and your refferal links ) :D

We are all to familiar with the run of the mill ads..they do get boring!

baner imps are a great cost efective way of advertising providing you can get peoples attention to them :)
