D4A Points and Referral System

Hi all, as some of you may have noticed,
there have been a few changes to the
board.

!! This is Not Activated Yet !!

You have now your own referral url that
you can use to earn points.

The points can be used in the "Bank" to
buy items that we will add in the future.

This can vary from Cash Prizes, Lottery
Tickets, Referrals in the programs that
have support folders here maybe, play
in online gaming tournaments and stuff
like that. (-wild-)

Obs.
You will earn points at this time for referrals,
posting and replying in spesific folders,
but we will delete these points when the
testing is finished.

Everybody will be notified when these
settings are tested and proven to work
the way they are supposed to do.

Hopefully this will happen fast! ;)

Any comment on these things is Highly
appreciated!

I like the new look and sounds like even more fun here. Think that the point system will be cool. Only I hope that some people won't start posting junk only to get points... :(
To avoid this, maybe you should add something like bonus points for relevant posts like virus alerts, technical support for newbies etc.

Only my idea, take it if you like :lol:

I've been looking forward to this! Is the referral system still in the testing stages so we shouldn't be using our referral link just yet?

Edit: Can we use the banners at http://www.downline4all.com/banners/ for advertising? If so, can we use them via your hosting here, or should we be uploading them to our own website and serving them from there?

It's not working the way it should yet,
but we are getting there. (Soon I hope)

We will set up banners and buttons in
the referral area for easier access for
every one and the hosting for this will
be on our servers.

This is all very new to us, so we must
try things out alittle before we start any
contests with prizes and stuff.

But yea, I totally agree, this fall will give
Many good surprises and many new
members.

We will kep you all updated on how things
are developing though. :)

We are planning a referral contest ;)
The only problem is that there's a small bug in the
referral addon, so you will be credited for the referral, but
not receive any points.. Hope to find a fix for it soon :(

And i'll tell 'ya that even if D4A gets as big as some of the other forums, it will still have that down to earth feeling, because the (-worthy-) mods/admins don't make you feel like a #. ( Now serving #34,565,456,776,544)

The reason it is so many referrals is
because we have been testing things.

We have gotten the script to work
the way it should now, atleast allmoust..

Minor adjustments is still needed. :)

I 100% sure that this will not be ready
before the first of August.
(But not much after)

We will announce this in the newsletter
plus with banners and stuff, we will
make sure that every one knows when
it is possible to recruit and what kind
of prizes it will be for the referral
contest.

I am really excited about it :D
