the house is so full of smoke you cant see from one end to the other LOL
I have to open all the doors and windows.
I would not be surprised if the damn firebrigde turns up!

Haha! Too funny!

I've been known to set off a smoke alarm or two in the house. It happens to the best of us. ;)

Once as a kid I remeber my mum burning chips..she set the kitchen on fire...they had to repaint the house and replace the apliences.
It was when there was an ad on TV with a lady burning chips and the famly yelled "NO not the chips!"
to this day we say that quote to my mum still LOL she has not lived it down.

I hope I live this one down :)

It's not your fault then, it's been handed down to you for generations. It's in your DNA. :P

Hi VamP

I'm so sorry for you but hey it happend to a lot of us.

I'm remeber one time when I lived home my father was about to make french fries(spelling?)
He totaly forgot he put it on the gass and everything was burned in the kitchen.
It was not funny at that time but heyyyyy at least whe got a whole new kitchen.

BTW: he never ever let anything burned again,so it was a lesson for him hehehe

Sorry about your burnt stuff, but burning and blowing-up food and household appliances can be fun. :D

My mum stood for about 5 minutes one night, watching the burning toast reflected in the kitchen window....she thought that it was the house over the back on fire.

I think my best one ever was a ZX Spectrum.

But I must admit, a smoking lampshade is scary. (1X1)

Hi!
This reminds me to the first time when I made baked eggs!

I totally forgot them and they were quite interesting in consistence and the kitchen full of smoke!

I was also quite happy that nobody called the fire-bridge than! (-....-)

Lungfish, your story with your mum made me smile :hahaha:

Once while my mum was ironing, the iron started burning at once. Maybe she was too wild with it, but this is maybe the reason why I hate ironing - I simply have a trauma!

Much Greetings!
