Hi all!
It's already 3 years ago now that planes have crashed into the WTC and the Pentagon. But many of us still remember what they did at the moment they they heard about first time.
I still know I was in town to do some shopping I had to do, and around 5pm I went to the bus-station. In the bus I heard it from a woman who worked in a shop where I frequently bought stuff. She told me only about the PENTAGON and that 10000 of victims are expected. At home I turned on the TV immediately and saw the whole disaster, the burning towers...

I think it was luck NOT to see it live, but how you think about it? I know a few people here live in the USA and I know in the USA Patriot Day is celebrated today.

I wish all Community-Members a peaceful and secure September 11th...

I was in the chat-room and TV was on Fox-News, suddenly I heard somebody was screaming and yelling on TV and I actually watched it all live, horrified. At the same time chat-room has gone dead quiet and then exploded.

It was the 8 years jubilee with my ex-husband, we met each other on September 11th 1993 first time, so first I was thinking that this is definetely the last jubilee and I was right, 4 months later we splitted...
At the morning of 9/11 I was writing something about how different the life is for this generation of kids, compared with my own childhood... not even knowing what would happen a few hours later...
The first night I watched tv the whole night trough and also the days after. I didn't knew anybody in the USA than, but was really shocked and all I wanted was a place where I can lay down flowers and burn a candle, but I was living in a small town than with no possibility for doing that.

In the midday of 13/11, while I was watching again all those horrible things on TV, my daughter walked the very first time of her life. First I was thinking: "In what kind of world you are going to walk?" but than it gave me hope somehow.

But still the memory is very close...
