wired 24 - search engine

Ok, I've been wanting to start promoting search engines again for a while,
so today I just joined wired24.
Nobody will tell you where to advertise your search engines, such is life.. :(
Because then everyone will start advertising there, and since the search engines
only pay for so many searches from one person in a day, there would be less valid searches.

About wired24:
- Owned by bettybucks
- 80% of bids
- 10% of referral earnings
- 5$ payout
- 5$ signup bonus

I heard the average bids are good, but I just ordered my first ad, so I will keep yo updated on the average bids. When my ad is running I will keep you updated on the average bids and number of searches etc.

If anyone wants to join it. Check my portal or the downline builder:
http://www.smartztart.com/W24/

Send me a PM if you need help with the portal, as it is not in the member's area.

My ad is still not running. It's my monthly membership ad at mistyandsamscash,
so paid ads go first.. I am bored of waiting

I just joined another engine, searchpipeline.
I am not sure if it is owned by bettubucks... but my uppline said
both searchpipeline and wired24 is owned by bettybucks.

I think the bids are good, but I'm a little unpatient about my ad at mistyandsamscash, so now I'm gonna go find some site with cheap ads just to test.
(I never buy from unsustainable sites, I buy from the ones with happy members.
The sites known to pay their members are usually very good places to advertise. I will aslo look for good deals on ebay.. but the typical unsustainable sites I am staying far, far away from. I can't give you any examples, as I haven't looked at PTR sites in quite a while, so I don't know the names.)
I don't care about profit with this ad, I only care about testing the search engine to know what the bids are like. Any profit will be a bonus, but no expectation (-good-)

Here is my second portal:

Wired24 stats

This is the stats from the first day:

Date: 10/21/2004
Clicks By Referrals 29 $1.1696

Might not be enough searches and days to reflect the actual average, but
at the moment it is about 4 cents.

I just got an e-mail from wired24 and searchpipeline saying they are converting
to a new system, that there will be some changes made and they don't accept any new affiliates until further notice.

It sounded like they had something good going on, I hope so

Anyway, i will be joining some more engines.
I am going to test some with weekly payout, to see their results.

Eye-search

I joined another engine, eye-search.
They allow custom portals, as long as the bids aren't too high.
I think it was below 5 cents, but don't take that as a fact.. I can find out if
anyone wants to know.
They pay out weekly.

I just tried it with my custom portal:
http://www.smartztart.com/ES/

At Ebay I bought a bulk purchase at backdraftmails.
I was expecting a little higher average bid with that custom portal, so
for these ads I will barely break even... or loose a little.

Backdraft stats so far

1st ad: 108 clicks
2nd ad: 78 clicks

Eye-search stats

Date: 10/29/2004
Clicks By Referrals 16 $0.5201
Date: 10/30/2004
Clicks By Referrals 16 $0.5599

About 15% search rate, though I expect a few more searches.
Average bid with my portal: about 3.3 cents.

Stats from mistyandsamscash with wired24 search engine

My custom portal:
http://www.smartztart.com/W24/

Stats from wired24:

Date: 10/30/2004
Clicks By Referrals 116 $4.4904
Date: 10/31/2004
Clicks By Referrals 113 $3.7636
Date: 11/01/2004
Clicks By Referrals 34 $1.098
----------------------------------------------
total 163 searches

stats from misty:

1847 hits

% valid searches: 14.2 %
average: 5.7 cents :o (the owner approved my portal. Just copy keywords (-good-) )
(average is a bit lower based on all searches, but right now I'm too lazy to calculate it )

Ad costs 7.50$, but since I have an upgraded membership that I earn my money back from long ago it's all in my pocket. Thank you misty

I am going to fix mine for their new script and test it.
Then I can make one for you at the same time. The search and replace
functions of text editors is nice

Vejaseek is good average is around 5c per click.

sonusunny I would take the bid amount out of your posts and signature as it can get your account suspended as bid amount isnt allowed to be advertised.

:(

I think I have bad luck at the moment.. Eye-search is down.. I hope it's coming back :O
W24 didn't approve my portal in their new script, so I contacted them and he said he
didn't receive the request.. And smart as I was I forgot to save the portal, as
I thought it was saved in the script, so now I have to do the portal again.
Also I just heard that butterflycash is closing, it was such a great site to advertise on :(

How is beston doing now? Is there any other good ones with payout a bit more often
than once a month.?

I testing bestonsearch at the moment, I think its only average. But I like MeridoSearch, my average on MeridoSeach is actually similar to Vejaseek. Minimum payout of $3, I don't think they have any restrictions on how many times they pay a month. The last time I requested for payment, they paid within one week... :)

Seems most are starting to pay monthly only i guess when they get paid also themselves from their feeds.

I just found this search engine blog:
http://enginereview.blogspot.com/

Should probably get some more interesting updates and info there than from me ;)
By the way, I still didn't get paid from wired24, so might be my first bummer.

Did you ever get a Wired24 payment ?

Lene

I just checked their FAQ and noticed after they changed scripts they have
increased payout to 25$.. So I guess I have to send one more ad to find out..

Just came to think about this thread.
No, I never received my money from them.
All programs I have joined under the person that referred me has paid me in the past,
so this is actually the first time I have not be paid by a program, but one time has to be the first I guess.

Lene

I have to take that back.
I just received the money.

Seemed to take awhile for them to pay so think I will stay away from Wired. I seem to have found a few good portals at the moment that are paying me quick without request or I am certain will pay me at the end of the month. :)

Lene

Part of the reason it took so long is because they increased the payout after I had reached it.
Also they pay out 15 days after the end of the month, at least that is what they should.

I have stopped promoting search engines again, since it seems you have to be on a constant lookout for new search engines to promote, as the bids drop after a while.
Although, it's a nice way to earn a bit of money without investing a lot :)
