This is not really a question for support.
Only well,grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I had major problems on my pc.
Suddenly i got a warning from norton,it says my anti virus was no longer protected my pc there was an error and i must the antivirus installed again.
Well that again turns out to be:and again and again and again and again.
Nothing helped and i couldn't scan my pc anymore for viruses.
So,i have to clean my pc al the way.
There was nothing left anymore.
I installed XP again including service pack 2 so more protection.
I got another firewall and virusscan.
So with the scanning there was a trojan and I got that nasty one loose.
But man i was pretty ANGRY.
Why do ppl try to brooke other once pc.
I even dreamed of flying horses coming out of my monitor.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,but hey the pc is now back to normal so I can get a good night sleep. hehehehe
Sorry but I just wanted to loose my bad feeling.

I know that feeling as well......I get to the point where sometimes I just want to pic it all up and throw it out the door. Was the whole computer affected or was it just that you couldn't put nortons on again? If it was just that you could have got another virus scanner like avast or avg both are very good and free!!!

Yes I know pug.
But i couln't acces msn either.
When I go to the internet for another free virus scan,he closed everything.
Everything what was protected i couldn't acces.

You now with one scan he says some kind of file is infected (java file)
When i scan with trendmicro it says nothing is infected.
And when i have a virus trendmicro always find it.
When i looked for that file in search with windows he couldn't find that file.
And the scan who says that that file is infected don't clean it.
I think i trow it trough the window.
Panda scan can't find anything.
Trendmicro either.
Should I be safe or can I try something else to scan.

It should be ok now.....have you done a scan with adaware? If not I would run that and see what you can find....you might find it could be some spyware or adware on your computer.

Yes now i tried almost anything.
Also ad aware but nothing suspience has been found.
Also no viruses:lol:

I was suspended from the net at school a while ago, cuz they claimed I had
the sasser virus, but I was scanning and scanning with different software..
If I can't find a virus I wonder how they can claim I have one.
I think I need to learn more about security, but I've been lucky and almost never
caught a virus :) At least that I know of.. lol

How can they claime it when there is no virus?
You know when i do 4 or 5 times a different scan and none of the scans say you have a virus,i think you can asume that you didn't have a virus.
Maybe they switch you with someone else:)
