Today my 11 year old daughter came home with a poem.
They have to right it because christmas is near and they have to think about other childeren in the world who are not that fortune as our kids are.

I have try to translate it but it's difficult because some words don't rime.

This is what she wrote:
_______________________
I'm alloud to go to school,
and I can play.
Because trough our streets,
never drives a tank so i'm safe.
Also for my bread,
i never have to steel.
And I may say,what I feel.

I have a home,
i get to eat.
If I have sorrow,
it will be alright.
It seems ordinary,
and I would not know,
How to live differntly.

I get no spank,
and don't have to be silent.
I can give my opinion on what ever I want,
it's not the same for every child.
And if I ask something,
I will very often get it.
But it's not the same for every child.

if I want to,
I can go to college.
I have a choice,
on every moment.
I'm free and I can go to sleep in a tent.
But some childeren live in there.

My live seems like a party,
i have everything I want.
But it's not everywhere the same,
and that's a shame.
People say smile your live is great
And I know every child has the right to be happy,
but it's not every where the same.

Children are precious, I have often said that the world would be a much better place if we where lead by the children. They do not know of hate or prejedice until the adults teach it to them.

God bless the children!:)

You should be proud Nicole. As Andre said, You have taught her well!

Thank you for sharing that.
