There really is no secret.

A lot of you have probably been searching for the secret to how to make
money online. Some of you have probably also bought some e-books
claiming they will share the secrets with you.
I was reading an article earlier, and it reminded me about the fact
that there really isn't any secrets.

So instead of searching for a secret that exists only in our dreams,
we should spend our time on getting ideas on how to build traffic our
reach prospects. Traffic is the only "secret". If you have traffic you are king.
Of course you must be able to convert the traffic..

What's your opinions?
I think we've all been searching for this/these secret/s at one time or another.
Sometimes we want things so much that we are blinded, I think that is the reason
why many people are joining the obvious PTR scams again and again.

I agree with you on traffic, the trick however is how to get
Targeted traffic.

I honestly don't think it's possible to "Really Make It" if you don't:

Have Alot of time to be online..
Spend money on Targeted advertising
Stick to your plan (probably the most important thing)
Think new, or improve what's allready developed.

This is just what I think, but it does make a little sense?

No site will make money without traffic but then the next question is who do you trust to provide the traffic there are many sites out there that promise to send you TARGETED Traffic but are the visitors real or just fake hits.

The only way to make big money from a product you sell is to get an army of affiliates to promote the site on your behalf and then offer them a % for each sale they make.

Yes, I agree with you, to offer a affiliate program is
good for your product/service sales, but I don't think
that is the only solution.

I think that Really targeted traffic is comming from ads
throug links with sites that has the same content, and of
course really strive to get good search rankings.
(personally I beleive that is The Best way to get best traffic)
PPC through the major search-engines is also a smart
solution, but expensive thou... (if you get top bid in Overture
you will also get within the top 10 placements in Yahoo
search on the same key word - That would Really give
High Quality visitors.)

But I think all in all, it just takes time, dedication, money,
and never stop striving for perfection

I am an affiliate for a lot of programs and sometimes make a nice amount bidding on keywords though it is trial and error on what site you try to promote. I am currently running 18 campaigns and more than half of those campaigns i will delete soon and try different. It's sometimes better to target a small region of the world and then increase the regions slowly on a successful campaign for obvious reasons.

It depends on how many good affiliates you have..
If you have good products and are able to close the sale.

i agree with you. Many Big SE depends on small ones for getting searchers.But there is no asurance for earnings in these small ones.

i don't agree with you in this Lene, becz, here "Secret" is nothing but "A Hidden(Unknown to you) Information".Many newbies are there don't know how to manage their portals/sites.Where to search or where to get infomation.Telling them about real opportunites is nothing but cracking the nut shells(in my view) and showing a new way for earning.

However , Ebook writers are Somewhat different Becz they increasing their earning potentials by just writing what they know and what they have in their experiences.If you are talented you can get all that information what written in ebooks for FREE on internet (Since author also experienced from internet only).the only Secret is where to find? it knows only to some people.....

So, there are Still Secrets to know for money making opportunities.but they can get even for FREE if you can spare enough time , if not go to buy a BOOK ...., lol

they are going to share with you some secrets that only a few people know..
or it's known among top marketers, but they are scared that the average Joe
will find out.
It's not really a secret if all the information is already avaliable on the
internet. The only thing that is really a secret is business ideas.
I am pretty sure that anyone here who has english knowledge, could potentially
be making a living on the internet.. Well, I guess you really don't need that
either, but it would sure be an advantage. Most people fail because they don't
find the information they need, or don't have their own good ideas, can't
structure their work, they don't beleive in themselves, they have no ambitions etc. etc.
The idea could be something really simple as blogging. Let's say you were
really interested in programming, you could write tutorials in your blog,
at least once a week and advertise books from amazon.com. It could be any topic.
Some people watch movies every evening. They could review the movies in their blog
and advertise amazon or some other shop selling movies.

Even the owner of getpaidforum concidered closing down his site because
the members weren't active, some competitors grew faster etc.
And look at it now.. The evidence is right there in their forum. Just check out
the oldest posts in the industry announcement folder
If he had stopped trying, he would have failed too. It's obvious, but if you give
up you fail.

this is true , but how many does knows about that? that "he can get good info over net", by the way So many newbies are becoming victims of "Scams" for not knowing exactly what they were doing?
