Hi everyone! Glad to meet you. :)
I am OldMan.
I haven't been here for a long while due to unfortunate circumstances. :(
But I can guarantee I have not forgotten you. There has not been a day go by that I haven't thought about everyone here at D4A. I have missed you all very much.
Now let's have some fun, OK?
You new members may not have talked with me but I know that you have seen my name many places in this forum. You older members may figure it out pretty quick, but then again maybe not. Here is the 1st hint. In OffTopic you will find a post that reveals my true id. That is the only hint I am giving at this point. Evil aren't I? :D
OldMan
LOL.. not a very intelligent reply.. Made my heart jump there.. hehe

Hi, Lene! Your guess is quite on the money.
Boy you sure know how to make an old man feel good. I haven't made to many pretty young ladies hearts jump in a long while.
I must leave for work now, I will log back in this evening when I get home from the slave camp. hehe
hehe.. Good to see you back.
don't slave too much. See you soon :D

Hi Andre and Pug, I am very glad to hear from you all!
I have missed my family here very, very much!
I have thought of all of you very often and wondered how the forum and it's members were doing.
I must explain my sudden abscence. As you may remember I was looking for a new place to live, well I found it. I live out in the country, which was one of my requirements, as I am not a city person.
I guess I am about as country as one can be. I love the fresh air, and the wildlife that surrounds me.
I hunt and fish and try and live pretty much off of the land. It is much healthier I think.
There is a song that pretty much describes me, you may not have heard of it. It is by a country music artist named, Hank Williams Jr. The title of the song is "A Country Boy Can Survive."
Any way the short of the story is that someone broke into my old house and stole my computer and a few other valuable belongings. The police could not find them, but I did. It took a long while and a lot of work, but I got the computer back and a couple of the other items. The theives contaminated most of my computer programs. They managed to destroy my internet business and generally destroyed my life as I knew it. I hesitate to mention this, but they even tried to take my life. As you can see they failed.
So now I am again able to be with you all again, if you'll still have this old man! I am sorry that I was unable to contact you, I just hope you all understand. Although we have never met in person I consider you one and all my friends and family. :)
Remember D4A is going to rock your world. (-wild-) Hehe!

Hi Nicole!
I am very glad to be back. :D
I am also very happy to see you are still coming into the forum. :)
You have always been so sweet & polite to everyone. I have always felt like the sun was shining on me when you are around, please don't ever change, I love you just the way you are and I know others that feel that way too.
I hope your husband knows how lucky he is, just in case, I'll tell him.
Hi Nicole's husband , I hope you know how lucky you are to have this ray of sunshine in your life.
If not, consider yourself here-by informed!

Hi, Lene.
Yes it was quite a dramatic experience!
Oh you can believe there are some stories I could tell, not sure if I should though.
I believe I can say that the involved parties wished that they had'nt messed with the old man! You can rest assured that they won't ever again. ;)
D.
Well said.. Gelderland is a gem :D
I asked about stores.. since it sounds like you live in "no man's land".. I'm so glad to have the gas station 5 minutes away, so I can go there in the evening if I get a chocolate kick or something.. hehe
I am sure you have a lot of stories to tell as well.. good and bad..
At least in the US those bad guys get their punishment.. I just listened to the news earlier about some cases of rape and murder over here.. One guy got 13 years of jail time for raping and killing a young woman. Since a jail year is only 9 months.. that is less than 10 years in jail. .And if they behave good, it might be even less

Oh stores, forgive me. Yes we have a couple of gas stations with in a few miles here and there is a grocery store about 15 mins away.
It is not quite as remote as I would like, but it is very acceptable.:)

Yes I know Lene,
So it goes here in the netherlands too.
When ppl here doing jail time and the behave well then they must sit in jail for only 2/3 of the time.
It's good for them that i'm not a judge(hahahaha)
Because they never get out of jail

It is really not much different here in the US. It often times seems as though the criminals have more rights than the victims. All you can do is try and make sure that your home is secure as possible and when you are out shopping or whatever, be aware of your surroundings. Ladies I always advise to learn ways of self defense. It is a cruel world we live in sometimes.Well said.. Gelderland is a gem :D

I hope I can help some way. Just remember I am another person just like you, needing to learn anything I can, so You may be able to teach me a thing or two. I always try and keep an open mind. What there is of it any way. :)
First lesson: You do not have to address me as Koenemann unless you want too. My name is Dennis, some just call me D. It does not matter to me. Just don't call me late for supper! I really like to eat.
The people in this forum I look upon as friends and family, that includes you. :)
