It *seems* neat enough of an idea - but isn't it also basically gambling? I mean the site is straight up about not guaranteeing 100% that you WILL get paid but they do guarantee your account will be rotated..but from some of the horror stories I've read about paypal I'm afraid to try it.

Any thoughts?

I'd stay away.
As far as I know, paypal doesn't allow their payment system to be used for that kind of programs.
Of course you may be lucky, but I would spend the money on something else :)

PayPal is good for a standard business, but as Lene stated they do not allow a lot of the questionable type programs. I know that there are many horror stories out there about them. I have used PayPal for my business for the last 2 years and have not had any problems what so ever.

The best advice I can give you is to read their terms of service and stay within those guide lines and you will not have any problems. They are strict yes, but that is what it takes to make things safe for the merchant and the customer. You must take all things in consideration when you are trusting your finances to a business, such as a payment processor. My personal opinion is that PayPal is the safest out there. I know of many more businesses that have used PayPal for a lot of years with no problems what so ever. Many of their rules are required by the credit card companies that they do business with.

Just be careful and thoughly check out any processor you may be looking at to handle your finances. It only takes one time for a less than desireable processor to destroy you and your business! Be very cautious even with companies like PayPal. Follow their rules and guidelines and you will not have any trouble with them. :)

I have been using paypal for a long time now.
Didn't have any problems with them whatsoever.
As long as you use them for regular and legal business you should have no problem with them.

If you want to join moneydoublers and the like you should use only E-gold and intgold (possibly also stormpay, but don't quote me on that).

I don't think it is a neat idea. If I am not wrong, StormPay is the first to implement the random rotation system, this is just a copycat of the system but using PayPal as payment method.

Just like what Koenemann said, PayPal is good for a standard business, this definitely will affect their good image to the public.

I totally agreed with Lene's point, try to use E-Gold, IntGold or StormPay if you want to involve in this type of moneydoublers scheme.

For me, I will try to avoid it. Remember, PayPal can anytime freeze your account. :(

Technically any payment processor can freeze your account. What you must be really careful about is some of these processors are located in places where they are immune from governing laws.

It makes it very easy to just up and disappear with someones funds. This is an area where each individual must do his/her own investigating and decide what you feel is right for you.

I know it can be a big hassle sometimes, but the rules that PayPal must impliment are necessary to protect both the merchant and the consumer. They also must protect themselves. This is one of the many reasons I use PayPal. I can not afford to risk losing any of my money and I feel they are the safest that I can get at the current time. There maybe other good ones come up, but as of yet I haven't seen one that has impressed me enough to risk using them. I will wait until they have a track record of a period of time that I am comfortable with, then maybe I would try them.

Please everyone just be extremely careful and cautious. Don't let strict rules scare you, they are really for our protection.

The thing is, it's extremely to start a payment processor, so better stick with the trusted ones.
I never keep a big amount of money online though, always a chance someone may get access to the account by placing unwanted software on my computer.
