Hi members here

Has anyone tryed using blogs for advertising of your downline programs?

While blogging is a completely different breed of people, its a great way to
gain link exsplosure. I've been told blogger's hate advertising, and in the
majority of blogs I've been viewing this seems to be true.

The average blogger seems to write about almost anything that amuses
them. There are also some vey good content rich blogs out there.

I guess the main thing I've noticed is that they like to read. You can put
up a content rich website, etc. but whats the odds of people reading
past the first paragraph. Search engines also seem to like crawling them.
Correct me if I'm wrong! Add some links in the side panel, and write
about a topic your passionate about.

What are your thoughts on this? Care to share you view about the blogs advertising here

I have not personally used blogs for advertising and there are different views on whether this is a good idea or not. I think it is true that many bloggers do not like advertising and are not going to put advertisments in their blogs. They use blogs to write about things that interest them or that they are passionate about. In one of the forums I belong to for health problems, there is a blogger. She writes of her experiences with her poor health and tries to educate and help others through her blog.

This is not to say that you can't create a blog and include some advertising. If you want to advertise in a blog it is best to choice a blog that is about a particular topic or topic range. It would be a blog that people would keep coming back to for more information.

So you would need to have a blog that would attract people whom would be interested in what you want to advertise. Otherwise, it is probably not going to be a very good marketing/advertising medium.
