I was doing some research today about generating leads. I came across some pretty good information. The one article listed several ways to develop leads and I thought I would name a few of them here.
There is of course any personal leads that you can have. This can be friends, family, co-workers, etc. Then the hope is that you will have many satisfied customers who will then tell people that they know about your business or whatever. Some of those individuals will hopefully become customers and then they will tell others about you and again the cycle continues.
You can also use "traditional" marketing/advertising methods in an attempt to generate leads. These can be things like your business card that you give to those who may be interested and that you post places, etc. You can use banner and text ads on other websites.
Depending on what you are trying to generate leads for you may want to advertise in local newspapers. Set up a booth at fairs and other large events where there will be a lot of people.
