When you plan out your website and the content that will be used, you should be trying to make your content search engine friendly. But you can't let that task take away from your website's primiary purpose. Your website content should inform and attract your audience to your business.

Your webpage needs to include some key phrases that people will be using to search for websites like yours. Before you even begin writing your text you should identify the key phrases that you will try to optimize for. Select about two and really no more than four key phrases that you will concentrate on and try to utilize in your site's content. Don't overdo it though. Too many keyword phrases being used or repated too often can having a negative impact on how successful your site will be at obtaining sales.

Exactly. But you should also make your site in general search engine friendly. Even if you have good contents with all the necesary keywords and phrases, your site "structure" should also be taken into account since it has also bearing on search engine ranking. For instance dynamic pages are not google friendly.

If a site (new site) with unique contents and few targeted keyphrases but without other SEO works like exchange links with other sites, do you think it will rank high in search engines just because of the unique contents? Just curious about this as everybody can write good content articles unless the search engines themself can read and determine which is the best one.

I don't think it's a guarantee. Algorithms of search engines vary. Note that a site ranks high in one search engine but not in other search engines.

Good contents and some works of SEO techniques also not a guarantee for your site to rank high. That's the reason I am using PPC to test out few of my new sites. No unique contents and seo techniques needed, just pay for the position you want, it's guarantee to rank high if you have big budgets.

Yes, I think if you have the budge to try PPC then it is worth a try. However, you can often do well in the search engines without spending a lot of money.

Search engines are a funny thing. Like we say, you can often (but not always) do well in search engines without money. If you have a good deal of quality websites with good PR linking to your site this can help. In addition search engines really like sites with a lot of good quality content.

I found an Easy Way to rank high in the engines!

I link to my sites in my signatures on over 150 different forums. The forums that have high rankings and link to my site improve my page rank(at least on Google). I use the keyword that I want to rank high for and link to my site with that keyword over and over and over again.

My forum "Employment Central" ranked in the top ten(#2 a couple of weeks ago) of about 190,000,000 using this method. I hope to now hit it for "Make Money From Home", which is my other forum, but that keyword phrase has about 820,000,000 results. I guess we'll just have to see.

Employment Central was indexed as an error message, because the users have to be logged in to access my forum, and spiders don't login, but registration isn't necessary on my new forum, so I expect a "clean" result.

Forums rank high, because the domain name is in every page of the forum, and a ton of pages exist on forums. As long as you have a ton of other sites linking to yours(your posts in other forums)with a keyword or phrase, and not a URL, you will rank high for that keyword, and you can send the traffic to your site easier, because the users trust your advice. You do after all have a top ten ranking site! ;)

P.S. It feels awesome to rank 1 in a million, now I'll try 1 in a billion!

So far as my exp the Google Adwords and Email Marketing are the best effective ones.
However if we have small ad budget then FREE posting is the good choice untill we get sufficient amount and knowledge to do the paid advertising.
