How to make a correct search in DB section? If you search these keywords "polarptr.com", "www.polarptr.com", "classical-mail.com" or "classical" etc. the result is always "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms." How can I know if a program has been already posted?
Please reply without deleting the thread

Thank you.

Dear alfz

You need to search for the whole url "classical-mail.com". Please read the rules before posting and you are not allow to start a unrelated threat in this "downline builder" forum.

Let me know or pm one of the moderator if you need help.

Dear alfz

The search results for "classical-mail", "classical-mail.com" and "www.classical-mail.com" are vary. Search by the domain name will show you the best results. See the search for "classical-mail" - "Search Title Only" - "Downline Builder" will show you the following results :

You are always welcome to give your input in this "Help & Feedback" but not in the "Downline Builder"section.

Hope it helps.

Admin

It's ok. So the best way to search is for DOMAINNAME without "www" and without the extension. So the rules are wrong. In fact I read:

------------------------
BEFORE you start a new downline builder thread- SEARCH FIRST! -

How to search: (You can find a search function at the top of every page.)
(Hint right click and open in a new window)

1. Keyword box, put 4 letters from program's DOMAINNAME (no wild cards or dashes)
2. SearchWhere - Downline Builder - Get Paid to Read
3. Refine Search - Search posts from - FROM THE BEGINNING

This means that Wanna Be Rich won't appear because the domain name is wbr-paysu. Simply search on paysu instead!
------------------------
Then
- Only 4 letters from domain name are not enough.
- In your example for "wbr-paysu" I must search for "paysu" (with no dashes), just like classical-mail but if you search for "classical" only, no results are found. Then the dashes are allowed and needed.

I think you must correct the rules.
Hope it helps everybody,

Thank you.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention alfz :)
I tried the search function a few times today and have had conflicting results.
The rules on how to search are the rules we had for the previous version of the board we were running and they worked however we have had a new version and other improvements sinse then.
I tried a few searches eg "polar" and polarptr showed up however i tried "classical" and i got no matches but "classical-mail" gave me results, but "clasical-" did not, nor did "clas" so it seems that using just four letter of the domain name is not working at the moment.
hmmmm I wil refer this post to admin and see if we can work out the best way to use the search function and change the instructions accordingly
Thanks again for your input!

I should have read this earlier. My earlier search gave no similar content. But actually a duplication. Now it's justifiable that I should not be warned of duplication under DOWNLINE forum.

The search function should be working fine now we have been very busy editing the titles so that they are correct.

You must search by domain name without the www and .com
For example (im making this name up) if the domain name is www.myemailspay.net then the title to the thread is "myemailspay" (please note no spaces added)and you would search for the term "myemailspay"

Hope you find it working better now :)
